Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Kurundwad is imparting successfully high quality education in this rural area for over 65 years. The society has three High Schools, One Primary school and two monitories and a Residential school – on Military pattern” which has in a very short period of time earned a very good reputation. Through these institutions over 2500 students are pursuing their education. Comprehensive development of these students is the principle objective of our Society.

One of our school, Sitabai Patwardhan High School has a glorious tradition of over 94 years and is imparting excellent education. Along with the academic performance, this school has splendid achievements in the field of sport. Our Boys’ team under 14 years has won the State volleyball Championship and the Girls’ team has achieved state level semi championship in 2017.

Our students have represented India in the International Tournaments in Weightlifting and Wrestling and have brought name and fame to the Nation. Our student Chandraknt Dadu Mali is a recipient of “Shivahhatrapati Award” of the Govt. of Maharashtra. We are proud of our students, coaches, and the organizers, who are participating in Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi at the State, National & International level.
